Gropius Restoration Pledge

Exhibition Piece: Restoration, protection and preservation. This is what Impington Village College requires in order for the building to remain for another 75 years. Consequently, a pledge is being made to the public to help support our restoration project. By pledging £10, you will receive a copy of this book by David Rooney.

The Grade 1 Listed Gropius Building at IVC is currently undergoing some important restoration work.  Funding has been secured from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Wolfson Foundation, with crucial support and seed funding from the PSFA.  To help match the grant award requirement the Henry Morris Memorial Trust have pledged 400 books to the College.

If you have any fond memories of IVC, feel you owe a debt of gratitude in any way, or would simply like to support the preservation of this important building please pledge £10.

In return you will receive a copy of the new biography telling the colourful story of Henry Morris’ creation of the Village Colleges.  400 pledges will raise £4000 towards the restoration programme.

Author of the book David Rooney will be giving a talk and sharing insights about Henry Morris during the anniversary year.
