Electrical Plans

Exhibition Piece: The map shows the ground plan for the entire site of Impington Village College in 1939 with the electrical circuits for each room. It is interesting to note the differences between the plan and the building today, such as doorways and room function changes.

This plan shows the electrical details for the entire site of Impington Village College when it was first constructed in 1939.  It marks all the different rooms within the complex, and can be used to make an interesting comparison with the college format today.

This electrical work would have been done by local contractors who were skilled in their craft, and fitted throughout the site to match room functions and layouts.
